The tight storylines and strong character development trumps Vikings, and after Ragnar’s death in Vikings the series lost its way. The show runners tainted the whole series in the matter of six episodes. The last season of GoT knocks it out of any discussion of great mythical/fantasy type series. The music she sings was pasted down through generations in her family. Eivør Pálsdóttir is really talented and the music sounds so unique and authentic because it sort of is.
